The course will consist of classes, labvisits and lectures taught by experts in various fields of science. In addition this summer school also aims at bringing together international students from various disciplines to build up networks that cross the borders of the traditional disciplines. A special session will also be dedicated to experiences of students with going on exchange abroad. Students from different countries will be asked to present their home-institutions.

TARGET GROUP

First year and second year students in Sciences or in Liberal Arts & Sciences with a major in Science.

COURSE AIM

The aim of this course is to provide you with an opportunity to learn about the current state of affairs in a number of interesting subject fields from the sciences including interdisciplinary topics such as cosmology, neurosciences, nanosciences and econophysics.

A limited number of (partial) fee waivers and/or accommodation is available. There are no travel grants.
