• Are you a second- or third year student of any of the following programs: Cesar Therapy, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social work or Speech-Language Therapy?
• Are you interested in the multi-professional care and communication related to patients after a stroke?
• Do you want to cooperate professionally with students from abroad as well as from the Hogeschool Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and Utrecht University?
• Do you want to study when and wherever you want?
• Are you prepared to follow a one-week intensive course in Utrecht, the centre of the Netherlands?
This summer school is an opportunity for you! You will collaborate with students of other countries and other studies on cases about multi-professional stroke management (Cerebral Vascular Accident / CVA) which is often crucial in the recovery process.
You will exchange your knowledge, experience and information in two ways:
• Summer School in Utrecht: Monday July 5th 2010 - Friday July 9th 2010
• Distance learning (e-learning): May 1st 2010 – November 14th 2010
The peer groups are multidisciplinary (f.e. medicine, nursing, physiotherapy and speech-language therapy). To guarantee the multidisciplinary aspect of the course we will make a selection. Your written down motivation will help us in making a selection.
After subscription your application will be confirmed shortly after May 1st 2010.

Information for HU students: please apply for the course + coursematerials. Your registration will be considered by the courseleader. As a selected HU student you are exempted from paying the coursefee.
