From business idea to great team to successful start-up

Creatives, techies and entrepreneurs unite! Join us in 2017 for the best Entrepreneurship Experience of the summer! In this intensive interdisciplinary course, you join forces and form international start-up teams. Together you work on your own or a team memberís innovative idea, or an idea that you design together during the first week of the Summer Academy. In two intensive, fun and very dynamic pressure cooker weeks, you gain skills and knowledge from Creativity, Technology and Entrepreneurship, demonstrating the value of design thinking, team building, business modeling, innovation, customer validation and creative processes. With mentoring and inspirational talks from entrepreneurs, creatives and tech start-ups, you build on your team to turn your idea into a working business model and plan, and pitch it in front of a jury of experts from the creative industries.
This Summer Academy is part of the European CREA Network, through which the best teams will be invited afterwards to compete in the international CREA Business Contest!*

You can apply for the CREA Summer Academy as an individual or with your recently formed (early stage) start-up team. Individual applicants form their start-up team during the course, or can join and complement an already existing team. If you apply with a team, we expect you to be open to work with other students who can complement your team with knowledge and expertise that you need for your start-up.

At the moment, we are updating the new CREA Summer Academy website for 2017, so the new selection information will be published soon on this website: www.creasummeracademy.eu. Of course, we will let you know immediately to give you ample time to communicate your information to us! We are expecting to know more around the 15th of February.

*costs of the Business Contest are not included in the Summer Academy fee
