During your academic career publishing your work is of great importance. Following this writing for publication course will enable you to improve your written academic discourse by increasing your awareness of organization, cohesion, advanced academic vocabulary and use of language.

In this advanced course, you will work on your own completed draft, improving it step by step. By the end of the course, you will become aware of your language needs through analysis, practical tips, critical reading, peer review and discussion.
You will know exactly what your strengths and weaknesses are and how to overcome these. Your own texts will be used as a basis for the writing assignments and you will receive feedback on your work from both the language trainer and the other participants.
The course focuses on:
- expanding your academic vocabulary
- improving academic writing skills
- revising knowledge of grammar
- expressing ideas in an academic format
- tips for submitting your paper
The course is suitable for people who have reached CEFR level C1. You are required to do a placement test
developed by Babel. This test consists of two parts: multiple choice and writing. A teacher will assess your language skills. On the basis of your test result you will get an advice about which course is suitable for you. Please note that it can take up to 5 working days until your language level is assessed. In case you have already completed the placement test we kindly ask for your patience, the Babel Service Desk will review your application within a few days.
