Unfortunately, this course is cancelled due to COVID-19 regulations. We expect to be able to offer this course again next year.

The writing retreat course will offer participants the opportunity to work on their manuscript alone and together with course members, join workshops to improve their academic writing and communication skills, and meet other global health PhD students and postdocs to share experiences. The workshops will be directed by senior researchers and will be targeted to explicitly cover the major concerns of early career researchers.

The course aims to provide you with dedicated time to write or improve your manuscript, together with other Global Health PhD students and postdocs within a friendly environment.

Workshops to enhance your academic writing skills will be given during the course. Senior researchers will share the most common pitfalls in academic writing and tips that can help writing stunning papers. Limitless amount of coffee and tea will be provided, as well as the opportunity to socialize.

Each day there is planned time to write/improve your manuscript, workshops and social activities. The course fee (395 euros) is including the course itself, course materials, lunch, dinner and unlimited coffee and tea.
