The Kröller-Müller Museum is a museum for modern art which is situated in the middle of National Park "de Hoge Veluwe". They have the proud honor to hold the second-largest collection of Vincent Van Gogh paintings in the world including Café Terrace at Night and Potato Eaters.
But this is not the only feature that makes this museum worthwhile visiting. It also houses paintings of many modern artists like Piet Mondriaan and Pablo Picasso and forms one of the largest and most famous sculpture parks in Europe (up to 75 acres!).
After visiting the museum and sculpture park, you can grab a free bicycle and explore the beautiful surroundings of the National Park, or do so by taking a walk. De Hoge Veluwe National Park is the largest actively managed conservation area in the Netherlands. The Park covers 5,400 hectares of woodland, heathland, peat bogs and drift sand providing habitats to deer, mouflons and wild boars. A good way to relax after all the impressions you have had at the Kröller Müller museum.
